President Allen Wilcox has been named a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year. Allen is 1 of only 3 honorees selected from the Seattle/Pacific Northwest region (since the Foundation’s inception in 1998), joining leadership from PATH and Landesa.

The Schwab Foundation identifies the world’s leading social entrepreneurs that are pioneering solutions to important social and environmental challenges. Schwab vets hundreds of applicants and selects leaders who are building strong and sustainable organizations with demonstrated ability to achieve large scale, systemic and sustainable social change through a new invention, a different approach, a more rigorous application of known technologies or strategies, or a combination of these. Allen joins 2014 honorees representing 37 outstanding social entrepreneurs from 30 organizations operating in more than 20 countries.
