What We Do
WGHA supports and advocates for our region's global health community as a nexus for research, edication, training, commercialization and delivery on the world stage. We leverage partnerships, raise community awareness, support creative solutions that address local and global health challenges and serve as a convener for collaboration between global health organizations and the public and private sector.

More than 1000 young professionals gather annually for this inspiring event to learn about exciting WGHA member programs and support global health efforts.

Nexus elevates Washington as a center for global-health efforts worldwide, connecting the business, nonprofit and research communities to further global health progress. Our work will be featured during Global Health Month in July 2012,for the Next 50, the 50th anniversary of the Seattle World's Fair.

WGHA, Swedish Health Services, Public Health Seattle & King County and HealthPoint are partnering with the SeaTac and Tukwila communities to apply global health strategies to improve health outcomes and economic opportunity in these underserved communities.

Ambassadors is deisgned to inspire the next generation of global health leaders through an an interdisciplinary (Algebra, Chemistry, U.S. History) global health curriculum. The lessons were developed in partnership with WGHA members and high school teachers.
