Global Health Nexus Seattle is a non-profit organization that is an initiative of the Washington Global Health Alliance, conceived by community members from the business, research, public, academic, philanthropic and NGO sectors. It is a partnership with the Prosperity Partnership and the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association.

Global Health Nexus Seattle raises the region's profile as an innovative leader in global health and life sciences as well as engaging and motivating citizenry with a call to action in shared responsibility of improving health, both locally and globally. Global Health Nexus Seattle enhances the connection and collaboration between the business research communities and increases the number of organizations, jobs, investments and partnerships in our region's global health sector.

Global Health Nexus Seattle webcasts global health events taking place in Washington state, to the world. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Seattle's World's Fair, this initiative will convene a month of global health events, conferences, educational outreach programs and activities to engage Seattle citizenry.
