PATH has Moved to a New Headquarters

As of January 4th, 2010, PATH has relocated its headquarters office. As a secretariat organization operating out of the PATH offices, the Washington Global Health Alliance has also participated in this move. The PATH headquarters used to be located in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood but currently operates out of the South Lake Union district. PATH now occupies three floors (111,000 square feet) of a 12-story building at 2201 Westlake Avenue leased from Vulcan Real Estate.

The move to South Lake Union places the Washington Global Health Alliance and PATH closer to other members of the Alliance, making this region an even stronger hub for research, health, and technology. Our new neighbors include Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, Seattle Children’s Research Institute, the University of Washington’s biotechnology and medical research hub, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The relocation of the PATH headquarters facility is part of a larger effort to scale up PATH’s work to create sustainable, culturally relevant solutions that enable communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health. It also addresses PATH’s immediate and long-term needs for space to house a growing staff that has doubled over the last decade and contines to grow.
