WGHA Members Helping in Haiti

Washington Global Health Alliance Members have jumped into action in response to the devastating level 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12. Several of our supporting members responded immediately by placing personnel and resources in Haiti to aid in relief.

Medical Teams International has mobilized two teams of medical professionals as well as shipments of medical supplies and financial resources. The first team includes two doctors and three nurses and will leave for Haiti January 14. The second team, made up of orthopedic specialists, will be close behind.
