Join the University of Washington Department of Global Health for a Global Health Lecture Series event entitled “Ending Female Genital Cutting and Empowering the Women of Uganda”. Speaker Beatrice Chelangat is the Director General of the REACH Program in Uganda, an NGO that uses a culturally sensitive, community-based approach to advocate for the elimination of female genital cutting and increased access to reproductive health education in the Kacphorwa District of Uganda.
