The WGHA strives to connect, organize, and motivate Washington groups that share the goal of improving health conditions for people around the world.
We facilitate global health progress by helping member and external partners work together to resolve global health issues. The WGHA fosters inclusive collaboration and shares global health initiatives with the community. We support and promote research, education, training, and mentoring in the global health field to develop a stronger workforce and increase the opportunities available in Washington.
WGHA also showcases Washington as a leader in the global health community. We strive to make the state’s leadership position known with the public, media, and policymakers.
Finally, we serve as a clearinghouse for global health organizations and interested public and private partners through the web, events, and outreach efforts.
