Global Learning Community of Practice Kickoff Meeting
February 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The global COVID pandemic has been a reminder that all health is global health, and that we in the United States have much to learn from the experience of health care systems in other countries.
With support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Washington Global Health Alliance (WGHA) is exploring opportunities to bring together global health experts and local providers and provider organizations to explore ways in which lessons from global health can be applied in the U.S. WGHA intends to convene a “Community of Practice” as a means to bring together stakeholders interested in identifying and applying lessons from abroad that can enhance health, health care, and health equity.
A kick-off organizational meeting to propose a way forward, and to seek input and advice from interested stakeholders, will take place on Wednesday, February 23 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific.
