Overview: As gene therapy gains traction for the treatment of cancer, genetic and infectious diseases, the need to consider how this next-generation treatment can reach patients around the globe becomes paramount. The Global Oncology experience has informed gene therapy of barriers to democratizing treatment, and a new generation of research developing tools to address these problems early on can benefit patients everywhere.
