Health Leadership in Africa: a WGHA Member Roundtable
April 19 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Improving global health equity among the world’s most vulnerable populations increasingly depends on developing leaders in the communities we serve.
Many Washington-based global health organizations are working in Africa to support the next generation of leaders in Africa. This work includes direct employment and job creation; education; technology transfer; empowering change at the individual level; and engaging the community to lead policy and systems change. While these efforts are numerous, they are fragmented.
This WGHA roundtable conversation will explore ideas and potential collaborations to further develop capacity and leaders in Africa.
Please note that this roundtable event is open to WGHA Members only. Members, please contact Kjersti Stroup at email@example.com to RSVP for this event.
