Get inside knowledge on what it’s like to be in an industry that has been devasted by the pandemic, at a time where racial injustice is at the forefront of our nation’s narrative.

Chef Jordan will share his origin story, how it feels to achieve his dreams, the opportunities coming out of this moment, and how we can we rise and reimagine together.

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Eduardo Jordan attended the University of Florida then enrolled in culinary school at the Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando. Following graduation from culinary school, Chef Jordan’s ambition brought him to renowned restaurants such as The French Laundry, Per Se, and Lincoln Ristorante in New York. In 2013, he moved to Seattle where he opened Bar Sajor as Chef de Cuisine. Taking the knowledge he learned from Bar Sajor, he opened his first restaurant, Salare in June of 2015. Then in 2017, Jordan opened JuneBaby, which focuses on his roots and Southern Cuisine. Chef Jordan has been named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs in 2016, and in 2018, received the James Beard Award for Best Chef Northwest and Best New Restaurant for JuneBaby. Chef Jordan is currently a Board Member at the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
