Science in the City

April 9, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Malaria continues to affect many countries in Africa despite being a treatable and preventable disease. The renewed global attention on these hard-hit countries has left many searching for solutions that work in hard-to-reach areas with limited resources. Join Pilgrim Africa and Dorothy Echodu, who share 11 years of experience, in a conversation about the struggle to find a fast, affordable and safe way to defeat this scourge.

This free event is part of Pacific Science Center’s Global Health and Development lecture series, thanks to partners, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Washington Global Health Alliance.

Tickets are free for everyone but Pacific Science Center advises reserving yours to ensure getting a seat. Doors open at 6:40 p.m.
