Communications Manager, Center for Malaria Control and Elimination

PATH is a leader in the effort to end malaria illnesses and deaths, refines and develops tools and approaches, supports national programs, and builds evidence and data to empower national governments to pursue malaria elimination.

The PATH Center for Malaria Control and Elimination leverages PATH’s unique blend of technical expertise, relationships, and on-the-ground knowledge to identify promising new ideas, bring together collaborators, and accelerate development of strategies and tools for elimination. This work is intended to empower national governments to pursue the goal of eliminating malaria transmission once and for all.

CMCE is seeking a Communications Manager who will envision and execute strategic communications plans and activities that encompass PATH’s complete malaria portfolio. The Manager will report directly to the Director of Communications and Advocacy for the Programs and Innovation division where CMCE sits, with a dotted line to the Director of the Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (MNTD) program. The Manager will be a member of the CMCE and MNTD leadership teams and will also provide strategic communications advice and support to communicators and advocates across the CMCE. The Manager will contribute significantly to CMCE’s strategic vision and management, lead annual work planning for communications and advocacy, and will also be responsible for developing a mechanism to effectively coordinate communications and marketing efforts across projects within the CMCE portfolio.
