Snapshot of federal funding to WA Global Health

The Washington Global Health Alliance studied the flow of federal funding to Washington State global health organizations from 2011 through 2016.

The findings:

  • Federal funding represented 69% of funding for Washington’s global health community
  • Federal funding totaled $5.5 billion over the period of the study
  • Washington is home to 207 global health organizations¬†

This snapshot also lists a ranking of Federal funders including the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, USAID and others.
