Designing Motherhood

WGHA members attended a private reception at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center to celebrate and explore "Designing Motherhood: Things That Make and Break Our Births” – an exhibition exploring the arc of human reproduction through the lens of art and design.
Women in Global Health Seattle September Gathering
September 14, 2023
The Women in Global Health (WGH) Seattle chapter hosted an in-person networking event at Stoup Brewing in Capitol Hill. At this gathering, the three new advisors for the chapter were introduced: Julian Jane Atim, Lead, Clinical Research, Global Health Labs; Patience Sanguli Komba, Doctor of Global Health (DrGH) Leadership and Practice Candidate, University of Washington, Department of Global Health, School of Public Health and Michelle Korte, Associate, Camber Collective. The newest co-chair for the advisory panel, Kiarra Witcher, Program Manager, Family Planning, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was also introduced to the rest of the Chapter.
