2024 Small Group Sign-Ups

The Women in Global Health (WGH) Seattle small groups are designed to create community and foster collaboration and peer-to-peer mentoring. We’ve heard so many inspiring stories from leaders and participants alike. We invite you to join us by signing up for one of the small groups below!

We leave small group sign-ups open so that newcomers can still join small groups throughout the year. The first meeting for 2024 is listed below for each group. We encourage you to sign up in time to join the first session if you’re able.

Career and Motherhood 

We discuss the challenges of balancing motherhood and a global health career.

We create a space that encourages co-facilitation of sessions where people bring mutual topics of interest for group discussions.

Women in Global Health Seattle Book Club

This is a space to extend our thinking through global health related books, while making new connections. We pace our books based on folk’s schedules and vary who leads the discussion.

Starts Monday, January 22 (rescheduled from January 15 due to MLK holiday) | 5:30 – 6:30 pm via Microsoft Teams | Meets virtually on the third Monday of every month

Quantitative Wine Group

We meet to discuss research, COVID-19 news, and life during the pandemic. We have a revolving host, which allows the host to select a date that works for her and ensures that everyone can attend a few sessions regardless of other commitments.
